In 2008, we added a new exciting feature to Poland Spring - Cyndi's Dockside. Cyndi bought the land and buildings in April of 2008. With the help of the Poland Spring Family, we reopened the marina in May and the restaurant in June of 2008. There have been many improvements since then... The dining areas have been remodeled, landscaping has been improved, the kitchen has been redesigned for faster service, and this fall we enclosed the entrance and added a handicap ramp entrance to the upstairs.
This spring we added a field stone fireplace and winterized the downstairs with windows featuring panoramic views so we may remain open year round!
In the old Days...
This property was originally the site of the Icehouse of the Poland Spring Hotels. Many of the hotel's activities happened on the lake, including dog races, swimming and more.
The property was owned for many years by the Hales Family. They had cabins, with access to the lake. It then became campground and then later a restaurant.
We are very proud that to have bought this property and returned it to Poland Spring Resort ownership.
